Bible Studies

Thank you to all who have been praying for us to secure more  Bible studies! After returning from Kansas Camp Meeting towards the end of the month, we saw a significant increase in those interested in Bible studies. One of these studies was with a non-Apostolic minister. I am believing we will baptize him in Jesus name very soon! Keep praying!

June Preview Service

We were blessed to have a ministry team from Topeka, KS led by pastor Nathan Dormer, for our fourth preview service. It was a special treat to have Pastor Dormer, as he was a student and dorm supervisor during our time as campus pastor at Gateway College of Evangelism. We are very grateful for their hard work, powerful worship, and prayer.

June Ministry Team

In May we baptized Donny. During our June service, which happened to be on Father’s Day, we baptized his teenage son!

We are looking forward to the two remaining ministry teams coming in to be part of our final two preview services. A team from The Life Church of Kansas City will be with us for our July 21st preview service.

Family Update

Anthony was blessed to attend Missouri Senior camp with The Life Church. We are thankful to still be so close to Missouri so that our children can stay connected to many of their friends in the St Louis area.

Anna celebrated her tenth birthday in June. In addition to celebrating with some friends and family from Kansas City, her best friend from St Louis came over to celebrate with her.

Earlier this year, Anna received a prayer box, in which she was to keep special prayer requests in. She told me that night, her first request was to be present when a particular friend  from The Life Church received the Holy Ghost. God answered her prayer and her special friend received the Holy Ghost! And Anna was praying right alongside her when it happened. It was a faith building moment!

Kansas District Conference and Camp Meeting was a wonderful time of fellowship and powerful moves of the Spirit. Anthony was part of the music team for camp meeting and did a great job! (purely unbiased parental opinion) The people of the Kansas district have readily welcomed us and made us feel at home. We cherish each new friendship that has been made. It has certainly sweetened our transition.

It Takes A Team

Throughout our church planting journey we have seen God answer a multitude of prayers; we have seen His divine provision; we have seen Him confirm His call over and over. From the beginning one of our frequent prayers is that God would send us a Apostolic team members. God has graciously provided Apostolics to help us during our preview services. However, by September, we still need permanent Apostolic team members to join us in fulfilling God’s mission and vision in Olathe and the greater Kansas City area. As financial and prayer partners you are already committed to what God is doing here. If you know of anyone looking for opportunity to do ministry or participate in church planting we would be grateful if you would prayerful consider sharing this opportunity with them. Pray With Us

Please help us pray for the following needs:

  • That God will continue lead us to hungry hearts that are receptive to the Gospel.
  • That God will help us to be effective in evangelizing and discipling those we connect with.
  • That God would prepare and send the needed Apostolic people to help us begin services.
  • That God would provide a Spanish speaking team member.
  • About whether God would have you partner with us for the needed funds for our equipment.

For the Kingdom,
