Our Pastor
Mark and Crystal have been married since 1995. They have two wonderful children that are excited to be involved in what God is doing in Cross Church.
After getting married Mark and Crystal moved to St Louis to attend Gateway College of Evangelism. Mark subsequently went on to receive a Master’s of Divinity degree.
They have been involved in full-time ministry since 1998. Mark served as campus pastor of Gateway College of Evangelism for nine years and then as Vice President of the college for nearly five years. In 2012 Mark moved to Pentecostal Publishing House serving as administrator until the summer of 2018.
Mark and Crystal Blackburn first begin talking about planting a church in July of 1993. After receiving the call from God to plant a multi-congregational church in Kansas City they arrived onsite in July of 2018; twenty-five years to the month the vision was first birthed.
